Subscription Terms

Version 0.2.2 · Last updated August 22, 2026

Summary

Pulsilon is a subscription service from Techsilon LLC. Every account begins with a 14-day free trial that requires no payment card. Paid plans are available in several tiers, billed monthly or annually in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel. Paddle is the merchant of record for every payment. You can cancel at any time, and cancelling stops all future charges.

Details

1. What you're agreeing to

These terms cover the commercial relationship — trial, plans, billing, renewal, changes and cancellation. Your use of the product itself is governed by the Terms of Service, and how we handle your data by the Privacy Notice.

Pulsilon is provided for business use. It is informational and is not accounting, tax, legal, investment or professional business advice.

2. The free trial

  • 14 days, no payment card. You don't enter card details to start, so the trial cannot bill you and cannot convert into a charge by itself.
  • It ends rather than converts. If you don't choose a paid plan, the trial simply expires and the account continues on the free plan.
  • What the trial includes. The trial gives you the Pro plan's features — including benchmarks and your full check history — so you can see what you'd be buying. When it ends, the account continues on the free plan and those features stop; nothing you completed is deleted.
  • If you advise other businesses, you can switch the trial to the Advisor features instead. Pulsilon is used both by owners assessing their own business and by advisors assessing their clients', and these are different plans. If you go looking for the client tools during your trial, we offer to switch it — at no charge, and your trial still ends on the same day. Switching changes what the trial shows you; it never extends it, restarts it, or gives you a second one.
  • Choosing a plan ends the trial and begins your first billing period on that day.
  • One trial per account.

3. Plans, prices and what's included

Current plans, prices and included features are shown on the pricing page, which is the authoritative source. They are deliberately not restated here: prices vary by currency and are presented in your local currency at checkout, and a figure copied into this document would silently go out of date.

Prices shown at checkout include any tax that Paddle is required to collect for your location.

We may change plans, features or prices. Changes to the price of an existing subscription take effect from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before that renewal so you can cancel if you'd rather not continue.

4. Billing and renewal

  • Billed in advance, at the start of each period, for the period ahead.
  • Monthly or annual, as you choose at checkout.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews for a further period at the end of each one, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
  • Paddle is the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles payment and tax, and issues your receipt. It appears on your statement as PADDLE* PULSILON. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment itself; these terms govern your subscription to Pulsilon.

5. Changing plans

  • Moving up a tier takes effect immediately, and Paddle charges the difference for the remainder of the current period.
  • Moving down a tier takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep the higher tier until then, and the lower price applies from the next renewal. No refund is issued for the unused portion of the higher tier.
  • Switching between monthly and annual takes effect at the next renewal.

6. Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and no need to contact us.

  • Future charges stop immediately.
  • Access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Your data stays in your account, which returns to the free plan.
  • Nothing is deleted when you go back to free. The free plan shows your most recent completed check rather than your whole history, and paid features such as benchmarks stop being available. Everything you completed is still stored, and subscribing again brings the full history back.

Cancelling is not deletion. To remove your data, see the account deletion option in Settings, described in the Privacy Notice.

7. If a payment fails

A failed payment doesn't end your subscription straight away.

  • Your plan stays fully active for 14 days while the payment is retried.
  • We tell you in the app and by email, with the date access would end.
  • Updating your card in that window restores everything with no interruption.
  • If it isn't resolved within the 14 days, the plan pauses and the account returns to free-plan access. Your data is not deleted.

A card that quietly expired is the usual cause, and the window exists so that doesn't cost you your subscription.

8. Refunds

Covered in full by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: the first charge on an account is refundable in full within 14 days, and we always correct billing errors, duplicate charges and extended outages.

A refund is not the same as cancelling, and the difference is what happens to your access. Cancelling (§6) leaves you with the period you've already paid for, because you keep the money's worth. A money-back refund ends your subscription straight away — the payment has been returned, so there is no paid period left to run. A correction — a duplicate charge, a wrong amount, an outage credit — changes nothing about your access at all; you're still a customer and the mistake was ours.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end an account that is used unlawfully, that abuses the service in a way that degrades it for others, or that is subject to an unresolved payment dispute. Where circumstances allow, we'll contact you first and give you the opportunity to put it right. If we end a subscription other than for one of these reasons, we'll refund the unused portion of the period you've paid for.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use a paid subscription after that date means the updated terms apply. The version and date at the top of this document always identify the current text.

Examples

Choosing a plan during the trial. You start a trial on 1 October and pick a plan on 5 October. Your trial ends that day, your first period runs 5 October to 5 November, and it renews on the 5th each month until you cancel.

Cancelling. You cancel on 15 October on a monthly plan that renewed on the 1st. You keep full access until 31 October, and nothing is charged on 1 November. Your account returns to the free plan: your checks are all still there, but the free plan shows the most recent one rather than the full history until you subscribe again.

Moving up a tier mid-period. You upgrade halfway through a monthly period. The higher tier unlocks immediately and Paddle charges the prorated difference for the remaining half. Your renewal date doesn't change.

A renewal fails. Your card expired and the renewal on 1 June doesn't go through. Your plan stays active, you get an email, and you update the card on the 4th — nothing is interrupted. Had you not, access would have paused on 15 June with your data intact.
